SPX-7200: SUPREX® Wired Reader-Extender (Ethernet) communication link. Connect readers to access controllers without Wiegand distance limits, by plugging the Suprex units in routers / switches to install readers anywhere on the IP network, or connect directly with Ethernet crossover cable, up to 328 ft. (99 m). The Suprex is a pair of units; a Central Unit and a Remote unit. The Central Unit connects to the access control panel, and the Remote Unit connects to the Reader, with the IP network or crossover cable between the units. The SPX-7200 is suitable for connecting up to 8 readers when used with EXP-2000 Expansion Module Sets. Use 1 Expansion Set for each additional reader. Requires 8 - 16 VDC. Durable aluminum housing. Overall dimensions of each unit: 4.50 x 3.10 x 2.10 (inches approx) Other Suprex models are available to link readers with an access control panel over Fiber Optic, 2-wire RS-485, or wireless connections.
